Music
Figaro is the well known technical melody from The Marriage of Figaro by Wolfgang Mozart. This etude focuses on scales in the keys of F, Bb, and Eb major. It features the same passage in the three different keys and then a little tag ending that moves through the three keys as well.
Visual
The purpose of this etude is to teach the students how to read the field. The focus is hitting the yard line and splitting on different counts and different feet.
The Music Etudes would also work well for Concert Band skill development.
